I don’t know one person I have met in the last  3 months (or more actually) who doesn’t have a Facebook Account. It’s more than just randomly sharing about what you had for dinner or who you had a date with last night, it’s a way of connecting with people we love. But more than that, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc all have one thing in common — they are great marketing tools if you know how to use them well.

In this post, I want to share with you some ideas on how to market your products on your Social Media.

1. Post nice photos. As if it’s not obvious enough, I see a handful of small business owners who take this for granted. No matter how small you think your business is (at this point), you should never ignore this rule! Images are all they see in your online store and if it’s ugly on photo, there is no way they will buy your product. And that is even if you have many friends.. They won’t buy it.

2. Film customers using your product. Pictures are great, but videos? Even better. Just be mindful that viewers won’t watch your entire video if it’s way too long. Make it interesting so you won’t lose them in the first 10 seconds. You can also do videos that touches the heart. We are emotional buyers, touch the heart you most likely will get a sale.

3. Give some samples to celebrities. I did this in my previous business and the returns were great! The celebrity posted the products on her Instagram account and I had inquiries and sales here and there. More than that, I also had a share of limelight when one celebrity used our baby headband on the front cover of Smart Parenting Magazine. That was one oh-my-goodness moment for me.

4. Ask for testimonials. You will see that on my homepage. Testimonials are a great way to market your products because people want reviews and real life experiences on your products or services.
